Back in 2023, the Brant Foundation in New York City exhibited a collection of never-before-seen self-portrait polaroids by Andy Warhol. The rare works gave a glimpse into the personal life and mind of the legendary artist. To celebrate this cultural milestone, THE SKATEROOM collaborated with the Brant Foundation and Andy Warhol Foundation on a collection of artworks which were also showcased. I’m so proud to have written the copy for this launch, along with a hardback catalogue which was available at the exhibition.
