This interview will forever remain one of my favourites. THE SKATEROOM collaborated with the Tom of Finland Foundation on the 30th anniversary of the artist’s death. To complement the launch, I spoke with Durk Dehner – the director of the foundation and the former partner (and muse) of Tom of Finland. We spoke about the impact Tom’s art had on queer culture, his actively inspiring legacy, and the beautiful bond that these two men shared (and, in a way, still share today).
